My passion for photography started with an Ansel Adams calendar I had as a child. The majestic mountainscapes of Yosemite National Park sparked in me a fascination with capturing the beauty of our world, first on film and now digitally. I adore the diversity and subtlety of the beauty in people, nature, and daily life. I got my first camera when I was 10 years old and have been practicing my craft for over two decades.

I love to help families, couples, and individuals feel confident and capture their most important moments to make lasting memories. I guide my clients through our sessions with natural conversations and simple posing, and I also look for the subtle, candid moments that often make the most cherished photographs.

I love what I do! I love connecting with people from all different backgrounds and walks of life, and working with and supporting local businesses. Most of all, I love bringing out the beauty and love I can see in my clients. Whatever type of celebration, moment, event, trip, business, location, or project you would like photographed, let’s chat — by email, phone, or grab a coffee!

When I’m not taking pictures, I can be found eating sushi, teaching music and audio engineering to high school students, playing music (guitar, bass, or keyboard), cooking cuisines from around the globe, traveling, hiking, camping, hanging out with my beautiful wife, or cuddling with our adorable cats Hank and Frank.
